I'm trying to create the ultimate Cruise Liner and I need some help with facilities and entertainment. Tell me all your ideas so I can make the most amazing Cruise Liner ever!

Thanks,

Answer
Well let's see.....

1) My own personal butler who can spoon-feed me some bon-bons, and pick out any food that gets stuck in my teeth.

2) An in-room jacuzzi that would hold 8 people

3) My own, private swimming pool right off the balcony

4) My own personal hairstylist and wardrobe consultant, trainer, agent, who'd help me get dressed, make sure the clothes, hair, and body ALWAYS looked well above run-way status (Even though in real life I am FAR from EVER looking like a model!) always! For example, I step out of the pool, and 2 or three of these people would instantly run over, dry me off, do the hair, etc, so that I ALWAYS looked absolutely stunning! (Hey, I can dream, can't I?)

5) On-board, complimentary plastic surgery and liposuction

6) On-board, complimentary escort service. (Maybe having the ahem "Extra" services offered by the escorts be an additional charge. No, actually, wait! That should be included in the price!)

7) all-inclusive drinks and food

8) a home theater right inside the suite, complete with thx certified sound system, Huge screen, comfy seats, video games, concessions (which would be free, of course!)

9) Private elevators

10) shuttle service, like those "Biddy Mobiles" they have in airports, that shuttle grannies from one gate or terminal to another. "Private, Chaufer service on a SHIP???!!!!?" Sure!!!! Why not?

11) Grand piano inside the suite, with the option to hire a musician to play it, if I couldn't.

12) Fireplace inside the suite

13) A dumb waiter (food elevator) that went directly from my suite down to the kitchen/galley

14) Olympic-sized public pool with diving boards

15) A roller coaster that went around the whole ship.

16) Complimentary ship-to-shore phone calls

17) Aroma therapy in the suite. King-sized poster beds with satin or flannel sheets, LOTS of pillows

18) Cabin steward or butler who was only assigned to my suite and nobody else's.

19) Engraved, gold-plated, personalized name plaque on the door to my suite

20) Press Room

21) on-board butcher shop

Ok, maybe not # 21

This was a fun question! Thanks for posting it.

What Jobs need to be done for a Cinema to run?

Little Mis

i know this is a confusing question, but i was wondering if anyone knew the type of workers one would need to show a movie at a theatre. Like managers, ushers... get the idea?

Answer
â¢Bartender â ensure consistent drink quality by providing superior guest service, preparing orders in a short period of time and in accordance with recipes and guidelines
â¢Booth Crew Member â operate film projectors, sound equipment and related equipment in the theatre
â¢Busser â clear, clean, reset tables and assist wait staff while maintaining a clean and safe environment in the auditoriums, lounge and bar
â¢Cashier â sell movie tickets and AMC Gift Cards and inform guests about currently featured films, policies, programs and more
â¢Concessionist â prepare and serve concession items to guests, clean the concession area and assist with other theatre functions
â¢Cook â ensure consistent food quality, and prepare menu items in a short period of time in accordance with established recipes and guidelines
â¢Dishwasher â maintain clean and sanitary conditions of all cooking utensils, flatware, china and stemware while maintaining a clean and safe work environment
â¢Server â accurately relay food and beverage orders between guests and kitchen while providing superior guest service
â¢Supervisor â help the management team ensure theatre functions run smoothly and efficiently
â¢Usher â clean and maintain the auditoriums, restrooms and lobbies while controlling access to the theatre and the auditoriums
Get a job working at the concession stand, particularly if you have experience handling food and drink. Movie theaters make the majority of their money selling refreshments. Thus, the majority of movie theater jobs teens can get will be behind the concession counter.

Presentation Manager
As a presentation manager youâll ensure the best possible out-of-home entertainment experience available. Thatâs what we do. Weâre AMC®, and weâre one of the largest entertainment companies in the world. Youâll train, coach, motivate and evaluate all booth operators. Youâll also manage routine housekeeping, equipment maintenance and timely communication with the theatreâs technical systems engineer. Bottom lineâyou help to put on a great show.

Take a look at a few of your soon-to-be responsibilities:
â¢Deliver a comfortable, distraction-free and picture-perfect entertainment experience
â¢Monitor film build-up and tear-down process for the highest quality
â¢Coordinate booth operations and duties (e.g., build-up, tear-down, trailer programming)
â¢Ensure picture-perfect presentations through auditorium and booth evaluations
â¢Identify picture and sound problems and correct them accordingly
â¢Execute pre-feature programming
â¢Complete required booth reports
â¢Measure screen luminance monthly and submit report
â¢Manage and train projection booth associates by using established booth certification/training materials
â¢Track operating expenses for booth maintenance, repairs and supplies
â¢Answer guestsâ questions and concerns
â¢Guarantee crew members satisfy all AMC guest service standards
â¢Assist with other functions and perform other duties as instructed by the General Manager
â¢Uphold AMCâs high standards and deliver entertaining company-wide programs
