I bought a 5 disk sony cd changer, and ordered online Bose speakers for stereo!!! well they can not be fixed to the cd player , am I suppose to buy home theater speakes or what?

This is a question that is often mis-guided as people will put in their two cents about every type of speaker out there. The reality is (or the better question is) what sounds good to you. You can spend all day sitting online asking people what the best speakers are but you should really go out and spend some time listening to different sets of speakers. Best Buy and all these other places may not be a great idea as they have special rooms with acoustics in mind and your room may not be 100% identical to theirs. The layout of the room and spacing are factors that can contribute greatly to the overall sound-stage.

Like any other city in America, we have a lot of the same exact chains...same food, same layout, etc, anywhere. But, here's a couple of local 'joints' born in Atlanta to consider:
The Varsity. Fast food since 1928 right off I-76 at North Ave, right across from Georgia Tech. On any Saturday night, you could be eating next to Tech's students, a construction worker on his way home, a couple dressed to the nines on the way to the opera (or coming home from it), a retired couple, or even someone from 50 miles away for their monthly 'Varsity Fix'. www.thevarsity.com
Mary Mac's Tea Room. Basic Southern Cooking since 1945. Just a couple of blocks from the Fox Theater (which is also a great place to see). www.marymacs.com
Pitty Pat's Porch. Right across the street from the Westin Peachtree Plaza Hotel. A Southern tradition since 1967. www.pittypatsrestaurant.com
Manuel's Tavern. A couple of miles east of the Varsity off I-75 on North Ave. If you're a Democrat, then you want to eat here...it's been the home of Southern back-room politics since 1947. I'm, not but I still have enjoyed a lot of great meals there & don't mind recommending it. www.manuelstavern.com
The Colonnade. Since 1927, it has been an Atlanta tradition and one of the city's finest restaurants, and at great prices! www.colonnadeatl.com . It's a couple of miles north of the city limits just off I-85.
While I didn't want to list any chain, if you do get in the mood for seafood, besides the national chains (where their idea of fresh really means recently defrosted), then Atlanta's best is actually a small national chain...Legal Sea Food. This is NOT Red Lobster, but something so much better. www.legalseafoods.com Not a cheapie, but well worth every cent. Understand, that not being real close to the coast, getting fresh fish delivered daily is not an everyday thing in our area.
Fine Burger Dining. When you want a great burger, but not fast food. In Little Five Points (Atlanta's version of 'Hippie-ville') or in Midtown, you'll want to check out the Vortex. Great selection & value. www.vortexbarandgrill.com but don't let the website scare you! LOL!!! However, they do allow smoking, so if you're not a smoker be warned...but their Midtown location does have some outside tables.
A Southern Breakfast. Just off I-75 downtown near 14th, you need to checkout The Silver Skillet. It's been around since 1956 (the present owners purchased it in 1967, but thank God didn't change anything) and famous not only for it's food, but has been a location for movies & TV and has been on 'Diners, Drive-In's and Dive's" TV show. www.thesilverskillet.com
