So I would really like to propose to my girlfriend this upcomming December! She is the love of my life and I want to do everything that I can to give her a romantic surprise proposal. I have two ideas that I have in mind. I would like anyones impression or suggestions. They would be greatly appreciated!
Idea number one: I have her mother in on it with me. My girlfriend love shows (plays and such). She especially loves the play Jersey Boys. I will have her mother ask her if she wants to go to the last day the play is playing in December for a mother daughter fun trip to New York. We live in Colorado and don't get out east much. I'll also buy tickets to the show and get isle seats directly behind her and make sure and walk in after her. During her favorite song in the world "cant take my eyes off of you" by Frankie Valli I'll tap her on the shoulder walk out into the isle and get down on one knee and propose during her favorite song during this Broadway show. This proposal idea has the element of surprise, long distance, she is dressed up, her mom can take a quick photo or two, and all that jazz. However my concern is that people around will be unhappy and/or we won't be able to immediately celebrate (because we are in a theater). But I think its pretty cool.
Idea number two: Everything from the above happens however she goes to the show with just her mother and then her mother and her leave the play. Her mother would then suggest that she heard this place to go to then she will be taken to Central Park in the middle of winer with lights everywhere. I will be there early and be under some random tree or something. And her mom will tell her to go over and check that tree/something out and she will be there in a second (take a fake phone call,.... etc). I'll have a generater from a home depot or supply/construction store with me. I'll have that tree/something strung up in lights (Christmas time) and plug them in as she is walking up with speakers and I will sing her that same Frankie Valli song "so good to be true" and get down on one knee in the snow under the Christmas lights. The elements that this posses that the other does not is that we will be able to immediately celebrate, we can go off to dinner and experience the park and the view of the city at night, while still being dressed up, have a surpirse factor, have some good family time with her favorite show, and still have the mom around to take a picture.
Let me know what you all think you are the pros and I respect any information, questions, or concerns.

Since she loves shows, Cinderella is on Broadway now (it's a magnificent show) and they have this thing where, for free, you can arrange to propose to her on the stage in front of everyone right after curtain call (while the cast is still up there, youtube it, it's really magical). And it's free! Just a suggestion. But if you don't choose that, the second one!

I want to design a high end gaming room. My budget is around 10,000 dollars to buy a new computer game systems massage chair ect.
What are some really good decorating ideas. I been saving for this since I was in highschool lol

Man oh man am I jealous !
I'd go ahead and make a home theater room with a gaming bent. Surround sound, a projector, good lighting and stadium seating with just a few leather reclining couches complete with cupholders. Raise the floor a couple of inches so you can run cables under it if you have any wired controllers, but avoid wired controllers if at all possible!
I, personally, would be tempted to skip the decorating aside from a few light-blocking velvet curtains to give it a posh theater feel, and to spend all my money on high-end video, audio, and gaming systems, but with a little bit of paint it would be temping to make a game mural around the wall when the lights are up. If you have zero artistic talent and no one else in your life has any either, you could stick to classic 8-bit games like Mario Bros and just work with masking tape in a grid.
For me, a high-end source and room control would be a must. I'd have all of my lighting, audio, and source controls in a touch-panel that can be reached from the couch. I'd want a DVD player in there (or blue ray, or both), a PC, a Wii, 360, and perhaps a PS3. I've always wanted a coke machine in a guest house for entertaining, so that's something to consider, and pop corn machines will make a mess but they'll also be incredibly novel and fun for your friends.
Finally, I've always wanted a cabinet arcade machine. A Neo Geo is an obvious choice, or you can get or build one of those inexpensive PC cabinet arcades, where it's really a PC under the hood that's been modified to play with arcade style games and controls. They're incredibly versatile, which I think is important if you're only going to have one arcade machine. (And really, who can afford much more?) My friend wants me to install metal DDR pads in my imaginary dream home, but I think that's a bit much for anyone who isn't a die-hard DDR fan.
The cabinet arcade machine doesn't fit the theater theme, but it's a fantastic part of a well-rounded gaming room!
