Home theater projectors are pretty expensive. $600 for the cheapest ones of decent quality. You may want to look into a business projector. This LG may be a good buy for you. You can project up to an 80" display. It has an LED lamp which lasts 30000 hours(8X the average lamp), uses less electricity and creates less heat.

Spend the majority of your money on the projector, since it makes the most impact on your viewing experience. Make a paint on screen to save money. If you have a nice smooth and flat wall you can save hundreds.

My husband built a theatre room in our house and he is starting to look for items to go in it. We've been looking for theatre seat deals, but we don't really want the super cheap looking ones or the most expensive ones, as we would probably need quite a few for the room. We've looked on ebay, but haven't really seen anything. Anyone with experience in this area or can give advice would be great. Thanks!
